Choo Choo Train Book

After looking at the wonderful books that Bugjunkie produces I just had to try my hand at it.  I loved the little book that she made with the "hiding spots".  I contacted her and asked her how she did it and she gladly told me.  So here is my attempt at the "hiding spots".  I choose to do the little train in "New Arrivals" for my first attempt at making a book.  With help from my gypsy I think I did a pretty good job.  The book is 5.25" high by 11" long.  I used papers from Basic Grey "Dawson" (one of my grandson's names) and from a stack of boy papers that I picked up at Michaels.  I think it needs a little more bling which I'll be working on and then posting more pics when I have it done.
The only thing I did different on my hiding spots was that I put the paper over the magnet spot so that you couldn't see it.

This little guy is in honor of Bugjunkie.  Love this face its a PeachyKeen.com stamp set made for the Once Upon a Princess cricut cartridge.

Jack's Baby Shower Card

This is my first attempt at making a card with my gypsy.  I used the B is for Boys cartridge and DonJuan the truck was cut at 4" and Jack was cut at 1/2". This was for my newest grandson's baby shower.  I really like how it came out I think it is really cute with his name on the truck.  The gypsy made this a real easy project.

Gypsy

LOVE MY GYPSY. Been cutting like crazy. Alot of October RAK for the Cricut Message Board. It makes life so easy - just plug it in and cut away. No switching out cartridges - its heaven. Highly recommend if you don't already have one.

Gypsy Update

The UPS man came around 3pm yesterday with my new gypsy. Couple hours to charge then I played for a little while. Grandson coming for the night so I had to put it away. I'll play with it today while he's in school. So far I like it. Just can't register cause I have vista 64. Gonna turn on the old lap top today and see what it has hopefully vista 32.

Gypsy

I caved and bought the gypsy from HSN on the 24th of Sept. It's gonna be delivered tomorrow and I can't wait. I'm hoping that it works alot better the DS for me. I have such a hard time with the DS having to click on things dozens of times before you can move some or do anything else. I'll post a pic after I open it. Hopefully UPS comes early tomorrow.

Thank you card for local store

I made this card for a local neighborhood store that has helped us with their generosity in our time of need during a family tragedy. They went above and beyond with their RAK. We'll never be able to thank them enough. Thank you Wendy.
